Welcome to the Absurdium

This is my teeny tiny part of the web, just one more drop in an ocean of things serious, silly, bizarre, and plainly absurd. Here you will find some choice concentrations of the variety the web can offer us. I have recently acquired this domain and with the services of a good host I have more freedom and more space to play with. Among my goals I plan to move some of my smaller projects here so they can be in one place for once, and to improve certain services I have been providing for a few people in recent history. One of the larger projects I oversee is a web site for a missionary, maintaining a web site for her and an e-mail newsletter.

I have recently taken on the task of being the webmaster for a growing church in Norman, Oklahoma. The demands of the server that was chosen without consultation has been a good learning experience and serves to reinforce my beliefs in supporting Bill Gates stance on software piracy, it only leads to more Microsoft products contaminating servers and PC's around the world.

The existence of these links is a questionable thing. The fact they they are on the web is existence enough, but the life behind these links, the people behind them seem to make the web a living entity that grows and changes. Like so many ants in a den, there are so many that counting becomes a matter of probablility rather than accuracy. Each ant is alive and each ant will die. Whether you choose to call the content of the web art, science, data, or a mess, there are still some lifelike qualities to this monster that has been allowed to rise from lifeless transistors in computers all over the world.
