Issue #24
August 10, 1999
Dear Friends and Family,
I'm sure at this time you are enjoying your
last few days of summer. The kids are all getting ready to go to
school, and some are trying to finish up their last minute
vacations. My bags are sitting by the door ready for me to leave
for Africa in the morning.
I have had a great time at home this summer.
I have enjoyed the opportunity that I had to see many of you. I
also enjoyed spending time in three churches, Locust Grove FWB
Church, Pryor 1st FWB Church, and Norman 1st FWB Church. I had
the opportunity to spend a few nights at Vacation Bible School at
Locust Grove. The kids were a lot of fun. I also visited a lot of
friends and family.
My bags are packed full from the goodies I
bought to take back with me for myself and others. Lots of people
will be glad to see me get back to Africa so they can enjoy new
things and American candy. It doesn't take a lot to make people
happy. A bag of Oreos will bring lots of smiles.
I'm going to keep this one short. I still
have a big day ahead of me tomorrow with about 30 hours of travel.
I will send an update when I arrive back in Africa. If you know
of someone who wants to be on this email list, please let me know.
In Christ,
Traci Epps
