Dear Friends and Family,
Only three days and counting and this trimester will finally be over. All the staff and students are ready to go home and have a break. One of the staff told a student the other day, "I love you all, but it is time for you to go home." The student just laughed. The next few days are going to be busy ones for everybody. This will probably be the last email newsletter for a few weeks because I am going to be gone to Guinea.

The Guinea trip is an area that definitely needs prayer. It has been crazy making plans and is still not settled. I am traveling back with the kids that are at school here. There are 23 kids, myself, and another ICA staff member. The Guinea parents are working in making all of the arrangements. They have had an awful time getting airline tickets. This is an excerpt from an email I received. "We are having a terrible time getting tickets for the kids. We started with Air Ivoire (flights were then cancelled), then went with Air Guinea (plane is now being worked on until Dec. 16th), then we went with Ghana Airways (they forgot to save 25 places) and now Air Afrique doesn't have room either. Yesterday we found out that Air Ivoire flew on Monday, so we are working with them to try and get you over here on next Friday the 3rd." As of now, we have tickets on Air Ivoire, but we are supposed to find out by today if they are really going to fly or not. Traveling in Africa can get interesting. I did get one bit of good news. Kelly (the other person going) and I got our visas. The last time someone from here tried to get a visa they had a horrible time. The plans now are that we will take a bus to Abidjan on Thursday, spend the night in a guest house, and fly out on Friday. If the plane doesn't go, we will be there until at least Saturday with the kids. It could be fun keeping them entertained that long. While I am in Guinea, I will be seeing the mission works there, visiting my kids' homes, and working with the homeschool cooperative. It should be a good learning experience as well as a lot of fun. I will let you know how it went when I get back. Please pray for the details to work out and for safety of travel.

Please continue to pray for health needs. We are now on our 3rd person coming down with Typhoid Fever. It is a first grade this time. A middle school teacher has malaria for the 2nd time in about 3 weeks. The break will help everyone to get well and rested.

Thanks for your prayers and support.
In Christ,
Traci
